Brenda Pick is a program manager with the e-Link Network at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Brenda received her B.A. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has been employed at UAMS for 29 years. She has 20+ years of experience in project planning and implementation.
Brenda’s contributions to the $102 million Broadband Technology Opportunities Program grant helped the e-Link team to consistently achieve and/or surpass project milestones through creative problem-solving and team-work. Her organization and oral/written communication skills helped facilitate the deployment of interactive video units to over 450 statewide locations. In addition to managing several sites, she generates and analyzes interactive video usage reports using a video analytic platform and keeps track of equipment moves and changes.
Brenda has had exposure to telehealth since the early days of the UAMS Department of OB/GYN’s ANGELS program. Having grown up in a small, rural town in Arkansas, Brenda is passionate about helping to facilitate specialty medical care via interactive video to underserved locations.
Brenda is married and has two grown sons. While at home, Brenda enjoys compiling family photo books, assisting her husband with cooking for family get-togethers and relaxing with a good book.
